“Well, yeah, you’re my mate. Not my maid,” Bishop scoffs gently and leans his cheek into his palm, watching Sawyer just the few short feet away, “We’re partners. Equals.”
“You’ll figure it out. You’re smart…” Bishop murmurs and sits back in his chair, watching Sawyer thoughtfully. Still with that sort of almost dreamy admiration.
He gets it, though.
“I know you don’t know any better because of…everything you’ve lived through, but it was never meant to be that way.” He pauses and licks his lips, “Everyone is obsessed with Alpha this abs Alpha that. They’re strong, blah blah. But without….” He nods to Sawyer, “all they are are ego trips and strength.”
Sawyer pushes a little at the leftover rice in his bowl, peering at the other shyly. He wonders if how Bishop is is more normal than what he'd been accustomed to. He doesn't ask. He just looks at him a little longer before finishing his food. He couldn't imagine letting even one grain of rice go to waste.
Sawyer's flustered but once he's done he gets up and instinctually cleans up the bowl, fingers itching to start on the rest of the counter and things he'd used to make breakfast.
Bishop follows after a moment and reaches around him to set his now empty bowl in the sink, caging the others smaller body against the counter so he can muzzle against the side of his neck.
Sawyer's breath catches as the other's body has him trapped against the counter. It's not... something he minds. He feels a wave of arousal and his cheeks heat as his head tilts to the side and he lets out a shuddered breath.
“Hi,” after a light kiss to the side of Sawyers neck, he wandered backwards slowly, “I’m going to shower….you….can either do dishes….or……..come with me? Your choice.”
With a tiny grin he turns and starts back upstairs.
Sawyer shivers and his eyes close before the other starts to back away. He exhales. The urge to do the dishes is so strong but so is the burning need for his mate. He wonders if he's going into heat or if this is just...how it is with a mate, or when a claim is new.
He really doesn't know how it all works.
"You haven't even had time to get dirty yet," he says, slowly pushing away from the counter. He'll do the dishes after... or... Bishop will insist on doing them one or the other.
It could be a little bit of everything, really. But considering Bishop has never actually played with an Omega till now that may have something to do with it.
“You smell really good,” he says, “you better be following me…”
Sawyer shivers. The words hold a certain kind of promise and he remembers how good, how almost too good it had felt yesterday. He follows him upstairs, his body already responding to the desire he feels -- to the scent of Bishop's piqued interest he's sure too.
Bishop is already stripped down and has the water running by the time Sawyer finds him in the bathroom.
He had meant it when he said sex wasn’t required. If Sawyer said no, it was no. But he didn’t say he wasn’t interested….
His eyes scan over his mate and that rumble starts again in his chest. Mine. That’s all the instincts can manage. Mine. That - is mine. Delicately shaped, mistreated, beautiful…stronger than he thinks.
Sawyer takes a moment to look over his mate, biting down on his lip as he admires all the strong muscles of his body. His arousal stirs a bit more and he averts his eyes and gets undressed. He can feel the other's eyes on him as he listens to the water, discarding the clothes into a hamper.
He finally looks up at the other again, cheeks a bit pink and there's the tell tale signs that he's getting aroused, length starting to get hard and less visibly he's getting slick.
The scent that floods the bathroom is mouth watering and Bishop almost growls at how much he likes it. But he doesn’t. He wets his lips again and holds a hand out, curling his fingers to encourage Sawyer closer.
“We don’t have to have sex,” he assures him, but he still slowly drags his gaze along the others body.
Felix flushes at the other's admission, shivering.
He slips into the shower and into the hot water, letting out a shaky breath. He'd wanted to from the moment the other had caged him in against the counter.
The cute, shyness was going to kill him. He would probably feel weak or stupid over how this boy makes him feel but it’s just something that happens. Alphas aren’t all growls and posturing.
Some people make them…like this. A mixture of possessive and almost puppy like at one time.
Bishop drags his mate in and immediately draws him into a kiss, lifting him up off of his feet and wrapping his legs around his waist.
